Project Overview
The Supply Chain Transition Implementation Plan outlines a comprehensive plan for transitioning supply chain management functions to the Nigerian Government, focusing on sustainability and optimization of health commodity distribution from central stores to the last mile. It details a phased approach, starting with a framework contract with a 4PL provider, moving to state-level management, and culminating in full devolution to states, all aligned with meeting Sustainable Development Goals.
Key activities include capacity building, performance reviews, and stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth implementation across all phases.
This activity had extensive stakeholder engagement with stakeholder mapping to ensure all appropriate parties were included, an inception meeting to kick off the activity, a review workshop to garner additional inputs, and a final validation to ensure the inclusion of all stakeholder feedback.
