PICMA, with the financial assistance of Global Fund, collaborated with Liberia’s Ministry of Health to draft a Supply Chain Master Plan (SCMP) for 2023-2028.

The year-long process to develop the SCMP began with an inception meeting to obtain buy-in from key stakeholders and a site visit from PICMA’s team. A draft was developed and circulated to stakeholders for input and a three-day review workshop was held in Buchanan with stakeholders and key representatives from the county health teams. Following this, additional revisions were made and another draft was circulated prior to the validation workshop. Final inputs were collected and the last round of stakeholder comments were incorporated into a finalized SCMP.

A final presentation was given to the Global Fund and the Ministry of Health in Monrovia on May 9, 2023.
